Hello
On MacOS 15.5, Dorico goes in a dead loop when you import and do not save a midi file.
You need to “force quit”

At what point does Dorico hang or freeze? Is it at the point at which you try to close the MIDI file, or quit the application, or something else? If the problem is reproducible, please run Activity Monitor, reproduce the problem, and choose Spindump from Activity Monitor’s toolbar, then zip up and attach the resulting zip file.
the crash report was send to you when I have re-open Dorico
Those automatically created crash reports are collected anonymized on Steinberg’s servers to look for general patterns that may cause crashes so they cannot be traced back to a particular user. It is never wrong to report crashes here as well so the team can look at them individually, but you will have to attach the report here manually.
what is the extension of the crash file ?
If you do Help > Create Diagnostic Report, Dorico will collect together the required information and create a zip file on your desktop, which you can upload here. It will find crashes from the last few days, provided your system hasn’t cleaned up the logs.
Hello
Here is the file
Dorico Diagnostics.zip (2.7 MB)

There are no Dorico crashes in your diagnostics, but there are several crash logs from the audio engine, which show that Vienna Synchron Player is crashing and bringing it down. I suggest you send these diagnostics to the support team at VSL to see if they can provide any information about what might be going wrong.
Hello VSL
Please find after a message from Daniel at Steinberg
You will find also attached the Dorico’s crash log
