Dorico 6 crashes

Please help. I have done everything I could find online to fix Dorico 6 crushes. Any attempts to play back of any files, even new, resulting in crush (not responding). I am using PC.

Things I did. Restarted computer, Restarted Dorico. Reinstalled Dorico. Reactivated in Activation manager. Deleted the folder AudioEngine_64 folder multiple times.

Hi @igoriachim, the first step to give the Team an overview of your situation and to receive help with such problems, would be to create and upload here the Dorico Diagnostics zip file (you can create it from menu Help>Create Diagnostic Report).

@igoriachim

It might help us to know whether, when you experience this trouble, whether Dorico actually crashes (the program ends/disappears, possible making you restart the computer to proceed) or whether Dorico freezes (the program just stops working, but you have to close it yourself).

Derrek, it is a second situation: Dorico freezes and I have to force stop it.

I have same problem. Could you send me the solution?

This is an update. It turned out, my MIDI interface Mbox was creating the crush. I have replaced it with a different one. For a few days it worked, but today it once again creates the same problem. Dorico wouldn’t start without restarting computer. I have tried stopping the VST process from the task manager, but no luck.

Unplug your MIDI interface, restart your computer. Start Dorico. If it is starting, the problem is in your MIDI interface. It looks like Dorico doesn’t support certain MIDI interfaces. That’s the only explanation I have at this point.

Thank you so much, igoriachim~ You are right. After unpluging my MIDI interface, it’s working. It’s strange. I used it before upgrading. Anyway thanks again~

Hi Ulf, I have changed the MIDI interface, but the same problem
