Welcome to the forum, @Chumpchops. I hope you haven’t really lost all your files. Even if they no longer appear in the Hub that appears when you start Dorico for iPad, they should still be on your device – as long as you haven’t manually deleted the app from your device.
Take a look in the Files app, and you should find a Dorico folder inside On My iPad, and potentially another Dorico folder inside iCloud Drive. Your projects should be safely in there.
I downloaded the update and it seems OK. Thanks.
A question: have you thought about making sure that when I open a project (Flow) on Dorico for iPad, made with Iconica Shetch sounds, the midi channels and sound maps are maintained?
Currently when I open a project on Dorico for iPad, if I go to edit each channel manually.
Playback settings are deliberately kept separate between Dorico for iPad and Dorico for macOS/Windows, even if you’re using Iconica Sketch for some or all of the instrument sounds, because the overall selection of sounds provided on each platform is different.
I’m another person having problems opening files on my iPad with the latest Dorico 6 version. Could it have anything to do with the file having been created in an older version of Dorico? Does the iPad version update the file to the latest version of Dorico?
I have the same problem. Open Dorico, open any project file, Dorico crashes immediately. This is on an iPad pro running ipadOS26. Hoping it gets fixed soon .
I have appeared to have stopped Dorico crashing on my iPad by resetting the device ( settings/ general / transfer or reset. I selected “reset all” ) So far I have had to reattach the WiFi network. Nothing else which has been critical has been affected and Dorico no longer crashes.
