Dorico had been working fine up until about 5 days ago. With version 6.0.0.6019 I am getting crashes when I try to add a title to a piece of music, try to edit layout options as well as other editing options making it difficult to work with Dorico on the ipad. Any suggestions to solve this issue would be most appreciated.
Try turning off all the accessibility features.

I just checked, accessibility features are turned off including assistive touch.
Could you please post the crash report here? You can find it in Settings/Privacy & Security/Analytics & Improvements/Analytics Data.
Someone else posted a similar issue and suggested to do a “reset of all settings” this solved the issue.
after updatingDorico on my older ipad to newest version - must be 6 -
Dorico crashes immediately, no chance to see it working since then.
Even deleted the app and redownloaded it.
App Store mentions “dorico works on this iPad”

If your iPadOS version is less than 16, Dorico 6 can’t run on it. Daniel said that the team will try to fix that in the next release so that users with older iPads can download Dorico 5 as the last compatible version.

obviously that needs waiting for some time…
i was using ios 14.x and Dorico before the last update ran fine, then updated to 15.8 and Dorico crashed. So a previous version would be helpful, yes!

So my conclusion : never update any purchased app anymore!
Dorico for iPad 6.0..6 is now available from the App Store, and should run more stably.

Dorico crash on my iPad. Installed now on the latest iOS available. Dorico crash when play sound. Before crashing I hear a digital glitch…then crashing…

Does it really consistently crash each time you “play sound” and what exactly do you mean by playing sound? Pressing play button, pressing a key on a MIDI keyboard or something else? Attached crash reports show that the crash happens during a file saving operation which may or may not be due to the already known autosave bug, but I don’t think autosave is directly related to “playing sound”.
The app does not crash every time I play a song. Every now and then, when the song is played (when I press the PLAY button), I hear this glitch and then it crashes.
The crash happens for no apparent reason, and NOT every time I press PLAY.
I add that sometimes the app crashes even without pressing the play button. Maybe they simply change the midi channel in the channel settings.

I’m sure the crash you’re experiencing, Paolo, is the auto-save related crash that we have fixed. We’re waiting for Apple to approve the updated build, and it will hopefully be with you within the next 24 hours.
I lost all my files when I shut the ipad down after constant crashing. I then paid for the life subscription hoping to get better results but now constant crashing and almost to the point of unusable. I have an ipadpro. The app seems to work better on my smaller ipad. Need help! Otherwise love this program
