Dorico 6 for iPad: editing in MIDI

Took the plunge on purchasing Dorico 6 for iPad since it will convert MIDI to notes. I have imported my MIDI files to Dorico, and want to know whether I can edit my music in MIDI with the Dorico program, hear the MIDI results, then have Dorico convert it into notes on a staff. Barely literate with computers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you import a midi file it will get converted into notation. Dorico is after all a notion app . That being said, you can then manipulate various midi data, like velocity and CCs (Continuous Controllers) in the key editor plus of course the notes themselves in the score editor or, if you prefer, in the key editor, like you would in a DAW.
You can also play your music with the built-in sounds.
