Dorico 6 - To Coda marking alignment

Hi all,

I happily upgraded to the new version and as I’m exploring all the fantastic new features, I encountered an issue with the alignment of “To Coda” marking.

In v5 and earlier it was right aligned with the symbol to the barline. In v6 it looks like it is right aligned with text to the barline, but the symbol hangs over to the next bar. Actually the alignment problem appears only with options with coda symbol left or right. Am I missing something?

v5:

v6:

I didn’t find any suitable setting except indent for right aligned repeat markers, but this affects also “D.S. al Coda”.

Thanks!

Definitely seems like a bug to me. Just tested and this file in D5 …

… opens like this in D6 for me:

Good catch!

Aren’t these crosshairs “musical crop marks”, and have the vertical line aligned with the bar line? That’s how I place them, even if they extend into the right margin.

I can confirm this.

If you set the Indent for repeat markers right-aligned with barlines value to something around 2, it compensates. (In D5 it was aligned correctly with a value of 0):

Thanks for reporting this. We’ll look into it with urgency.
