I’m trying to attach a video to my Dorico project, but it isn’t happening. I understand that I need an H264 video. However, it seems that the current version of iMovie will convert the original accompaniment MP3 only to an MP4 with AAC audio, so Dorico doesn’t accept it.
For a price, conversion apps are available. However, is there a free way to get this done?

There are lots of conversion sites if you Google
for them.
I reckon you are on Mac, so why not try the (free) Handbrake conversion application?
Another possible app is VLC. It can also convert, but I find it not as easy to work with as Handbrake.
Import into QuickTime and export. It should be H264?
arco - thanks, but QuickTime Player only allows me to export as audio. 
That is not my experience.
