Dorico and OSX upgrade

Hello, everyone.

I will need to upgrade my 2018 MBPro from Monterey to Sequoia.

Currently, under Monterey 12.7.4, Dorico 6.1 is working fine. I wanted to know if it was necessary to deactivate Dorico (and then reactivate it) before proceeding with this update, as was the case with Finale, or if this precaution is unnecessary for Dorico.

You can have Dorico licensed on three different machines.

That precaution is unnecessary if you upgrade the OS ”in situ” = in place, on top of the existing installation.

True, but precisely, I don’t want to lose an installation for a configuration that will no longer exist.

You can always deactivate a computer in your account at steinberg.net.
