Dorico completed disappeared from MySteinberg

Hi,
I’ve owned Dorico since 2021, and upgraded to Dorico 4 in 2022. All has been fine, until recently when I downloaded a trial version of WaveLab. The next time I tried to open Dorico, it says “No License Found”, and when I log into MySteinberg I can’t see any trace of Dorico anywhere. All that’s on there is the trial version of WaveLab. This is frustrating as I’ve got work deadline to meet and can’t access the software, and haven’t had a response from the Steinberg Support team yet, so thought I’d try here in case anyone has had similar issues?

Did you register Wavelab with a different email and therefore Steinberg account than Dorico?

I also - like Robin - suspect: as it has been a while ago, you will have used another email address then. If you can still find the registration email from your purchase in 2021, you can check this.

Thanks for replying - I did check this out and I’m logging in with exactly the same email address. Is there a chance the same email address could be registered with two different passwords as different accounts?

This is technically impossible.
It would be as if you could open the front door of your house with two incompatible keys.

ps.: did you find the emails with the purchase receipt/registration from 2021?
If yes, check to which email address they have been addressed.

To solve your pending problem:

I don’t know when your deadline is, but you can download a trial version if Dorico 6, which is fully working for 60 days.
Make sure, when registering the trial to use the right email..
