"Dorico Document" overlay appearing in Dorico Pro 6.1.0 - why?

I’m using Dorico Pro 6.1.0 on a MacBook Pro with an M4 Pro CPU under iOS 26.1 Tahoe, and I’m starting to see an odd behavior that I didn’t see in prior versions. A little “Dorico document” taglet overlay is popping up at times, obscuring my cursor and making it hard for me to input notes. I’m attaching a screenshot of what it looks like. Can anyone explain what this is, why it’s happening, and how I can get it to stop happening???

While I haven’t had this issue yet, I’ve seen others on this forum talk about it. I don’t think this is a Dorico bug but a MacOS bug.

It used to happen to me but hasn’t since updating to Tahoe (fwiw)…

I’m on Tahoe, and it’s just started happening to me since yesterday. No idea why. Closest update was the Dorico 6.1.0 update.

Happens sometimes. Also on a Macbook without Dorico installed.

FYI, Apple just released a new Software Update (Tahoe 26.2)

And that is what I am now running. Let’s see if it does away with the taglets. Thanks!
