How is it possible that Dorico doesn’t export fingering to xml?

There isn’t much help that anyone can give. Dorico’s MusicXML export is still somewhat lacking. Improvements have been made in 3.1 but fingering isn’t yet included.

Daniel has made it clear that major improvements on XML export were to be expected in the next major update (Dorico 4, I presume). Whether this will include fingerings or not is only known by the team 
As Marc says, we are planning to implement a good deal more in the way of MusicXML export support in our next major release, and I can confirm that export of fingering will definitely be included.
