As I’m seriously considering to purchase a lifetime subscription I would like to know if a sale is something that happens regularly or not and which period, just to decide if doing it now or staying with a monthly or yearly one for a while, in case of…

We don’t pre-announce sales promotions, I’m afraid. But it is the time of year when products are often offered at special prices, so it might be worth waiting a little while before deciding to buy the Lifetime Unlock in-app purchase.

I understand you can’t make a pre-announcement with a long advance, of course, but I was asking myself (and in the forum) if a sale does happen with a certain regularity or not as I don’t remember having seen one since I’ve downloaded the app, more than one year ago; I could be wrong, though, as I started using the app regularly - and appreciating it (quite as much as the Pro version) - more recently.
I’ll patiently wait for a while, then…

I’ve just received a mail about Steinberg Cyberdeals Season opening so I immediately searched for Dorico iPad lifetime subscription but anything appears on Steinberg.net; if I search on App Store from my iPad, though, it says that lifetime subscription is 79.99 instead of former 129.99, that’s a big deal so my questions are:

I don’t know why it doesn’t appear on Steinberg’s site but that is not where you buy iOS apps or subscriptions in any case. When you purchase from Apple’s App Store you must approve the amount before billing is finalized so I wouldn’t worry about purchasing the lifetime licence now if the you are happy with the lower price on the App Store.

I eventually decide to take the offer and I payed for lifetime subscription.
I’ve purchased many apps, Steinberg included (i.e. Cubasis) so I know how it works but the thing that seemed strange to me was that there was absolutely no announcement on Steinberg site while when a Cubasis upgrade appears there’s always something on the site and on the forum too…

Yes you can purchase a lifetime subscription for the Dorico on iPad version. You would have to go to the iPadOS built in App store for this.
