Dorico for iPad - Yamaha YDS-150 MIDI input

Hello all,

I connected my Yamaha YDS-150 Digital Saxophone both via USB (USB-C to micro USB) and Bluetooth. With both connection methods I got interesting results consisting of notes I didn’t really play on the Yamaha YDS-150 Digital Saxophone. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

We haven’t added any features specifically to Dorico to handle input from a wind or breath controller, and I suspect that the MIDI transcription even of wonderfully clean playing probably includes the occasional sound that is interpreted as an unwanted note. I guess we would need to add some heuristics to filter out very short and/or very soft notes, but I’m afraid at the moment Dorico doesn’t have any capabilities like that.
