I try to load a midifile, which is quite big, into D5 on my IPad, but the app isn’t able to take this file. That means it starts loading it and suddenly it crashes. Are there any limits for the file size?

I opened it successfully on my iPad Pro, iPadOS 17.3.
A 350KB MIDI file is going to produce a very large project, so I suspect Dorico is exceeding the maximum amount of RAM allowed by iPadOS, and is being terminated by the operating system.
I am having the same issue but not with a midi file, rather a .dorico file. It is 19mb. is that too large? IT loads to 92% then crashes.
smaller files do open.
Yes, unfortunately it is very likely the case that Dorico is being unceremoniously shut down by the operating system for overrunning its RAM limit.
