Dorico is jumping around

For some time now, my version of Dorico has been behaving very strangely: when switching from a score view to a single-part view, Dorico jumps to a completely unpredictable location.
It should really maintain the focus and return to the same bar, I think. But that’s not what happens, and it’s very frustrating and time-consuming. It’s impossible to work properly for me. The same thing happens when switching between page view and continuous view.

What can be done? Is there a workaround? I’m using version 6.2.10.6140

There has been lots of discussion about this on the forum over the years. If you have an item selected, though, you should be able to keep that position when you switch to a new layout. And if it doesn’t keep the same position, you can type p (for play) and the playback will force it to jump to your selection.

A workaround is to open a second window to have score and part(s) in different windows.
