Dorico is placing a Realtime MIDI recording I've done several bars after where I actually initiated recording (?)

Is this a known bug? I select a bar to indicate where I’d like to start recording; hit record. It records the info, however the starting point of where the recording is actually placed to is a good 22 bars LATER (very strange)…
