Dorico locks up repeatedly since I applied the VSL Syn-Spec Ed 1-2 playback template.
Today I got the error message shown repeatedly. I don’t understand what it wants me to reinstall.

VSL Helper app is used to convert VST samples, presets, etc. from e-licenser to iLok. It only gets invoked if it needs to convert something. So something in your Dorico file is trying to use samples or a preset or something that hasn’t been converted.
If you are connected to the internet, then it should try to convert over the internet. If you aren’t connected to the internet then you need to have both the iLok and e-licenser connected.
VSL recommended I reinstall Synchron Player using Vienna Assistant. That seems to have fixed it. Thanks.
