Hi, Finale refugee here, running Dorico Pro 5 on a Surface 9 (Windows 11).
My workflow involves transcribing from a PDF while using a 50/50 split screen so I can see both the “write” window and the PDF score while I input notes. Dorico won’t let me resize the main application window to a size that takes up less than 3/4 of the horizontal space on my screen (whether I use the mouse to try to drag the window line or use the Windows built-in snap-to-grid feature).
I can resize vertically all I want, but it will only resize horizontally down to about 3/4 of full screen.
Screen resolution on the Surface 9 is 2880x1920, and the recommended scaling is 200%.
Any idea how I can fix this? I see topics regarding the mixing window not resizing, and someone who had a similar 50/50 split screen issue on a mac (with no solution posted).
