Dorico on iPad

Hello!
I subscribed to Dorico.for iPad.
I am wondering if there is somehow possible to use iconic sketch (I also own Dorico 5), because the midi sound is quite bad.

How can I download Iconica Sketch for Dorico for iPad

I purchased Dorico for iPad lifetime unlock in 2022, before the release of the Iconica Sketch. Recently, I am informed that I can use Iconica Sketch in Dorico for iPad, but I cannot find it in my app. I also tried to download it, but couldn’t find the way to download it. Could you help me?

Click on Reset Sounds in the Preferences Menu (top right corner) and you’ll see a button to download Iconica Sketch. You can download and install from there.

I download it, but when I change to iconica sketch it sounds the same as general midi

Perhaps the instruments in your project are not the ones included in Iconica Sketch, so there are no better sounds available? What instruments are you writing for?

There are no solo string patches in Iconica Sketch.

Indeed, as @Janus says, for solo strings you’ll still hear the GM sounds. You might like the section sounds, which you can choose if you want manually for each track in Play mode. Be sure to also choose the appropriate Iconica Sketch Vln, Vla, Vlc expression map.
