Surely this is an oft-asked question.
I have a network of Macs in my home, two primaries that I use, one in my office and one in my music studio. I normally use Dorico in my office (where I also have a couple of MIDI keyboards), but now it would be very practical for me to have it running on the machine in my music studio.
I’m certain this must be permitted. Would someone just point me to a link with the authentic instructions for doing this so I don’t have to bother the forum with a question so fundamental?
You are allowed 3 activations. Just activate the second one with Steinberg Activation Manager. And first install everything with Steinberg Download Assistant.

You did not mention which release of Dorico you currently have installed.
Assuming it is Dorico 4 or higher the solution is pretty simple. You are allowed to activate up to three computer at the same time. All you need to do on your second machine is, download the Download Assistant, install it and login using your Steinberg account.
From there download and install Dorico and the other packages, which belong to your license. After that just launch the Activation Manager (it is installed automatically by the Download Assistant) and click on Activate.
That’s it, now you have two licenses active on two different machines.
