Hi everyone,
After reading different threads from 2017 through 2023, I still can’t find anything to help me understand and possibly fix this issue I have. So here’s the question:
Can both mixer faders be linked so when I modify anyone in VE Pro, it modifies automatically in Dorico Pro?
If so, what do I need to do for this to happen?
Thank you for your time and consideration.
I don’t think this is possible currently. Maybe I’m mistaken!
I’m curious, what benefit does this provide?

It would help me know what to use to do mixing, when needed.
I usually leave my Dorico faders flat and just do all the mixing in VEPro / MIR. If you leave VEPro in “coupled” mode, then Dorico will remember all the VEPro mixer settings (at the expense of file size / load times). For some libraries, such as Atomic Big Band as I recently discovered, the file size / load times increase so dramatically that coupled mode isn’t really an option, but for many libraries it works fine.
Ditto. I’m rediscovering MIR after a sojourn into NPPE (HOPUS) and it is incredible.
Ditto. My Dorico sliders don’t always seem to correspond to the instruments/outputs in the score for some reason.
I’d add that you can, I think, automate the VEPro sliders and control them with a cc automation in Dorico.
Yes, it’s really easy to control VEPro using CC’s using the great Key Editor.
