Dorico gets “Application not Responding” while Dorico is “Attaching to audio Engine”.
Dorico opens when I close Soundsource.
I’m running SoundSource on my own Mac here with no problems. Can you do Help > Create Diagnostic Report so we can see the logs for the times the audio engine failed to start up?
From my perspective, the only thing that I can see from the log files is, that you have a huge amount of plug-ins and that the scanning process might take a long time, i.e. between 1 and 4 minutes.
So could it be that you are killing off Dorico because you just think it is stuck while in reality the audio engine is just doing it’s scanning while still starting up?
Thanks! I’ll have to wait more. I force quit because it says " Application not working" while scanning.
