Dorico slow after closing the Endpoint Configuration window

Hi,

Dorico is taking a very long time (about 15 seconds) after saving an Endpoint Configuration.

After having saved it, I close the edit window, and the spinning wheel appears for about 15 seconds.

This happen always. The project is a big orchestral template, making use of VSL libraries hosted in Vienna Ensemble Pro 7.

This is maybe linked to the long time needed to exchange data between Dorico and VEP when resynching.

Mac Mojave, Mac Pro 2013 12-core, 64 GB of RAM.

Yes, I expect so. Have you considered running VE Pro in decoupled mode (or whatever the specific term is) so that Dorico isn’t asked to preserve VE Pro’s state itself?
