I think the difference is that I’m sending that to Hauptwerk’s VST/AU Link, not a physical MIDI device.
And, I have shared this in a separate topic with no resolution: Playback Automation CC value 0 is never sent for CC 90

UPDATE: So, I’ve tried a couple of MIDI monitors available from the App Store. They do not, apparently, monitor data from Hauptwerk’s VST/AU Link (a mediary to trigger the HW software via a DAW or notation software) because it does not identify as a MIDI device (virtual or otherwise).
