Dorico v6: Audio Engine issue...Solved!

@Ulf

I’m having a bit of a problem. Dorico 6 not working like it used to a few hours ago. Keeping Shift button pressed no longer helps. I’ve attached the diagnostics file for you to take a look at. Can you help me out? Thanks a bunch!

Everything looks OK in the diagnostics. Are you perhaps trying to run Dorico 5 and Dorico 6 at the same time on your system? If so, don’t do that: quit Dorico 5, wait a few seconds, and then run Dorico 6.

Hi Daniel, thanks a lot for your assistance.

Before installing D6, I removed D5. I then run D6, and it took about 15 to 20 minutes to scan all my plugins. That was a bit annoying waiting to explore the new piece of cake.

Best,

Guess what? I solved the problem!

I took out the MeldaProduction plugins that were causing the audio scan to freeze every time I launch D6.
