However, are you by chance a NotePerformer user as well? If so…

For now I prefer to work with noteperformer for the horns. It is not what you want but for some reason this works for me. I get a good enough impression to judge if it will work in real life.

If you want a decent mockup I can imagine I will use one of the libraries one day.

FWIW, I also looked at dedicated jazz libraries but ultimately decided to stick with NP, using the workflow described below if I need a decent playback rendition. (OT: I did, however, splurge during their summer sale on Ample Sounds’ Upright Bass and Gibson ES 335 guitar. The bass is infinitely better than NP’s and the guitar is at least much, much better — good bang for the (limited) jazz buck!)
