Dotted note key command?

Is it possible to make a key command so you can enter a dot for a note with the numeric keypad?

Shortly after Dorico premiered, this question came up, and the solution was to make the period/decimal-point key on the numeric keypad a shortcut for the alphabetic-keyboard’s period in Preferences.

As far as I know, that still works.

Still does! Value, then periode-key , and finaly pitch-key!

Also, now in Dorico 5, you can hit the number twice to include a dot.

Thanks! That seems to be easiest way.

It’s simple to have numpad dot and regular period both work.

(Hitting number twice obviously doesn’t work for pitch-first input as you’ll just input another note.)
