Double barlines

Hi guys, I’m trying to create a double barline at the end of a system, and then a start repeat sign at the beginning of the next system. but as soon as I put in the repeat sign, the double barline at the end of the previous system disappears. Not sure how that makes sense. Is there a way around this?

There is a setting for that, forget whether it is in Layout/Engrave/Notation Options but will check.

For my first question I found to do it under:
Engrave options->barlines : Barlines at end of system coiciding with start repeat

There’s also a per-instance option, should you wish to have different barlines before some start repeat barlines in the same project.
