Double Bass: harmonics

Harmonics of the double bass are notated in Germany and other European countries usually not transposed (resource: e.g. Hans Kunitz: Die Instrumentation, page 1467), in Amerika usually transposed (resource: e.g. Andrew Stiller: Handbook of Instrumentation, page 365).
An option for not transposed harmonics for double bass would be very useful!

We don’t have a copy of the Kunitz book here. Would you be able to attach one or more pictures of the relevant pages from the book?

Thank you!

Thank you!

We don’t have any good features for string harmonics yet, as of course you know, but this is certainly something we plan to address in future.

Apologies for rehashing this old thread, but it’s the only one I found on the topic. Is there any way, since updates, to create contrabass harmonics at concert pitch, as is typical in my experience? I know I can just write them an octave lower, but it would be nice to hear them at the proper octave during playback.

Same here! Would be great to get an option, maybe as well like an option if the note is “at pitch” or not (great explanation of a bass player is on Andrew Hugill’s site (unfortunately no links allowed in here)
