Double Halion licenses in Steinberg Activation Manager after a purchase mistake

I’ve got the same issue. A little annoying; haven’t been motivated to contact anyone about it, but as long as we’re here… :wink:

It’d be great to get rid of the redundant version.

Submit a Support Ticket to Steinberg Support, they will clean it up.

It is not able to submit ticket…

My problem is that I bought an upgrade for Halion7 (wrong choice) for the second time (twice) . I think that is the problem.

You have apparently acquired your license outside of a country directly supported by Steinberg (Austria/Belgium/Denmark/Finland/France/Germany/Ireland/Italy/Luxembourg/Netherlands/Norway/Portugal/Spain/Sweden/Switzerland/United Kingdom).

I’m pretty sure the issue is just one of removing the redundant version from the Activation Manager. That’s the situation in my case, anyway! Have seen these issues handled here in the forum more than once, back when code snafus were happening. In fact, somebody at Steinberg (and it was so long ago not that I can’t remember whom) fixed the same sort of problem for me here once before.

Clearly it’s not the end of the world, but… if the redundant (in my case, Trial Version) Halion could be excised, it’d be one less thing to be OCD about.

Steinberg cancel the second entry and refunded . I have got the same with trial version.

where and now did you contact them? I can’t submit a ticket and can’t get them by phone…

Do you want to ask for a refund? In that case the Online Shop Support is where you need to look for.

No, I just clicked by mistake a voucher for grace period for Halion 7, although I already have it activated. I didn’t payed for that second licence. I just want it to remove from my Activation manager, because anytime I open Cubase it warns me for failed licence. My regular licence is normally activated

I have exactly the same situation. Just haven’t bothered to get a support ticket for it.

Problem is that I can’t get support ticket. When I get to that point it doesn’t offer me to create support ticket. Just to see if there is one or not.
