I’m trying to download my Cubase 11 update and associated files and there is nowhere but Steinberg Download Assistant to get the files. I am getting the attached error: Steinberg Download Assistant was unable to connect to the download manager (aria2).
I have re-installed SDA, uninstalled and re-installed, made sure my firewall was allowing it to pass through and even temporarily disabled my real time scan. This is making me nuts and wasting my time. Help!

I have this problem as well, and performed the same steps. I also tried rebooting.
Please make sure that you have the latest version of the Steinberg Download Assistant installed:
https://o.steinberg.net/en/support/content_and_accessories/steinberg_download_assistant.html
Try installing it as Administrator.
