When I open the download assistant, there is a spinner in the left pane where the products normally show up, but it never goes away.
I have left this waiting for over a half hour and I never see the products. I have already updated to the latest version. When this didn’t work, I uninstalled and reinstalled the product. I have tried running it as an Administrator, Windows 8 and Windows 7 compatibility mode. None of that worked. I have also tried turning off my firewall.
Looking at the traffic in Wireshark, I could see that the Steinberg Download Assistant was getting the icons for the products so it looks like it can at least connect to the internet to get information.
What can I do to get this working? I would like to buy and download the Absolute Collection 4, but cannot since this is the only way to get the installers.
