Download assistant won't open

System: MacOS 13, 2023 Mac Pro M2 Ultra

For the past two weeks I just can’t access the download assistant. Everytime I open it, it just pops a window says “A connection to the download server could not be established, check your internet connection”. I can log in my steinberg account on the website. And all other sites are working just fine.

I reinstalled the software several times now. just doesn’t work.
