I want to buy cubase 13 but my new computer isn’t ready to use. Could I just download the whole cubase 13 pro onto an external drive without operating it on an active system, meaning saving the whole programme intact on an external drive and save it there for a month and then download it back to my computer and activate cubase 13 pro with my codes? I will not use any dongle, I just want to buy the entire programme online in the steinberg store. Will there be any problems? Do I have to activate the cubase when I buy it or can I just download it first on an external drive and later activate it on a computer? Will it work for sure?
You can download the installers from Cubase’s site and install anytime.
OR…
Once you’ve paid your money, you can download it anytime - today, tomorrow, next year. So just wait until you’re ready.
.
thanks bro. how do i save it on the website? what is the process to make it not download immediately?
You don’t save it, it’s a public site, anyone can download Cubase, even if they haven’t bought it. But it won’t run unless it’s activated. So it won’t download until you click the link.
So long as you keep your activation codes in a safe place (should come with the confirmation emails), you can download, install and activate Cubase anytime - now or next year, even. Unlike some sites, there’s no time limit to download.
In the emails you should get links to the Download manager etc. Just keep those emails safe until you need them.
It really is that simple!
Thank you so much brother. I just purchased 13 pro and saved the download details! Thank you for your help.
