I try to download Halion 6 content, but after 3 times it stops downloading before the full content its reached with the steinberg download assistant.
What’s going on here ?

The same happens here for Groove Agent content download. The download assistant is rubbish. And I am amused this remains unanswered, so not really expecting an answer to this either.
I was going to be cheeky about a necro post, but just tonight I had the same issue with Download Assistant lol. It gets to the end and then just slows to a crawl and never finishes the download.
…is a waste of space. I only use it if the download is not available on the Downloads site.
I have some old Cubase trials that Steinberg support literally told me they couldn’t remove from it as it used eLicenser.
They do not show up there at all 
so yeah not overly impressed with Download Assistant tbh.

I’ve encountered the same issue on a couple of occasions.
What worked for me was, when it got stuck at the end, pausing and un-pausing the download would complete it.
I’ve experienced the same - pause/unpause results in completing the download.
