Downloaded Halion 5 - officially confused!!

Hi, I’m only now getting round to downloading and installing Halion 5. I already owned Halion 4 and Halion Sonic and was under the impression if I downloaded the upgrade from Halion 4 to Halion 5 I would also be able to download the Halion Sonic 2 skin to work under (as I prefer the layout to H5).

I do have the Halion Sonic 2 installers in my H5 upgrade etc., but when I open Cubase there is no sign of Halion Sonic 2…only Halion 5 and Halion sonic.

I don’t know if I’ve got the wrong end of the stick with all of this and I would actually need to upgrade my HS to HS2 to get this to work but as I said…I’m confused!! :confused:

Any clarity/info would be much appreciated.

Did you run the HS2 installer? They are separate instruments/programs.
Also, HS2 REPLACES HS so it will still show up in the instrument list as Halion Sonic.

OK after all these years, it’s official…I’m an idiot :nerd:

I only seen HS in my VST instrument panel…after reading your post, I actually proceeded to open “Halion Sonic” and it is indeed - Halion Sonic 2.

Thanks so much for clearing that up. I probably would never have thought of still opening HS and would have persisted with Halion 5!!.
