Drag and drop MIDI events to audio tracks to render them

I saw in a 9.5 video that you could drag and drop MIDI events to the sampler track to render them to audio. I am wondering why we can’t do this for very simple rendering of highlighted MIDI events/tracks to audio tracks (as well as a right-click ‘render highlighted MIDI events to audio’ option). It would be a handy feature to have.

This, and having the automation curves available for automating CCs like modulation, expression etc.

We already have this with render in place…
Ive setup my shortcut to ctrl+shift+b and boom, its done.
