I can’t figure out how to set the midi preferences so that when dragging and dropping midi from stylus, it shows up on one midi track, rather it opens two midi tracks and puts the file on a blank midi file:
What do I uncheck in preferences to correct this?

What works for me here is, in Preferences>MIDI>MIDI File>Import Options, uncheck everything except…
“Ignore Master Track on Merge”. I also have “Import to left Locator” and “Import markers” checkmarked, but those shouldn’t have any relevance as regards RMX.
