Problem:
Drag & drop midi patterns from VSTi [e.g. NI Maschine, FXpansion BFD] to midi track or instrument track causes the error during the save and autosave project - the message: “The project could not be saved, because: The project is corrupt! The previous version of the project has been left unchanged.” - if you Save project before you execute point 3 of reproduction (see below) or “The project could not be saved, because: The project is corrupt! No new project could be created” if you save project first time or project is autosaved first time.
Reproduction:
1 - Create a New Project
2 - Load e.g. NI Maschine in VST Instrument Rack
3 - Import (Drag and Drop) groove from NI Maschine to the new midi track or instrument track
4 - Save Project
5 - You will get the error message
Solution:
3 - Import (Drag and Drop) groove from NI Maschine to the Desktop (It makes midi file) then Drag and Drop it into the Cubase midi track or instrument track
