Drag Rex (.rx2) from Windows Explorer to Sampler crash

Hi,
I have encountered this crash when attempting to drag .rx2 files from Windows (10) explorer onto a Sample Pad.

Cubase 14.0.20 64bit2025.4.23 21.44.33.217.dmp (1.0 MB)

Strangly I found this post: Rex Files - Cubase 13 crashes
which states the exact opposite issue..

Anyways I create a new report for Cubase 14

Also, I made sure that the sample rate was correct beforehand, but it didn’t seem to make a difference.

Edit: I noticed on my W11 laptop I can reproduce the crash, however, it was not 100% reproducible (it did work sometimes)

Another stealth Fixed in Cubase 14.0.30
But Imported Rex slices are mapped starting from C3 rather than C1 which not consistent to other devices.
