when i drag a program from the program table to a slot (in the slot rack), that program overwrites the program that was previously loaded in the slot (ie overwrites it not only in the slot rack but also the new program is copied to the program in the program table that previously was loaded in the rack slot).
ive Always done this to change the program of a slot and frankly dont know any other way but now i cant do it without loosing a program
i had this issue before when upgrading from 6.something to 6.22 and couldnt solve it so i just downgraded to previous version and have been running that ever since until now i upgraded to halion7 (and dont have anything to downgrade to without loosing the new h7 features)
Is there a specific reason you want to load programs from the program table like this? You could just load the presets from mediabay directly to slots ignoring the program table altogether.
You could try to select the slot you want to load the program to and then double click the program in program table instead of drag and drop.
I’m able to reproduce it here. It’s now in our Defect-Tracking-System and listed as Bug-ID “ HALLY-10082”.
I hope we can provide a fix for it soon.
Thanks for your report and please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused.
@misohoza its just the way that comes naturally for me, working with templates with my soundbanks allready loaded in halion.
selecting and doubleclicking seems to do what i want in another way and its working fine. thanks!
@Gerrit_Junge thanks gerrit. last time support couldnt reproduce it and it made me think i was the only one in the universe. looking forward to the fix
