Hello everyone. I’d like to share some thoughts on the Draw tool, which was updated in version 14. After using it for six months, I’ve concluded that it has become very inconvenient and is no longer as versatile. I realize the developers won’t revert the Draw to its previous state, but please do something to make it better and easier to use. Personally, the Nuendo Draw was a key part of my workflow, and the changes have been frustrating and have negatively impacted my work.
Completely agree. Huge step backwards for workflow unfortunately.
Can you clearly describe why and your use case? I don’t use the draw tool very much.
This hopefully highlights the differences between Nuendo 12, Nuendo 15, and Pro Tools. It was requested many times before this change happened that there was no need to reinvent the wheel and simply copy what PT does. PT is much faster than N12->N15 and has an established workflow based on feedback from many working professionals. The fact that I needed to do an MP4 for N15 because file size for an attachment was too big should speak volumes in itself.

You can exactly do what you are showing in your N12 and Pro Tools clips with holding the command-modifier (on Mac) when using the draw-tool:
Thanks. I did not know about that. That solves one issue I had with the new envelope functionality.
The current event volume line capabilities are vast and very flexible. There are multiple ways of inputting changes and It can even detect words for you.
It helps if you read the manual. Or at least describe your issues in more detail.
I don’t want to write in detail, as I don’t speak English and have to use Google Translate, which doesn’t always translate accurately. I think those who frequently use the Draw tool understand what I’m talking about.
