Driver ASIO activation

Hi, how can I activate driver ASIO for recording?

Hi,

Studio > Studio Setup > Audio System > ASIO Driver. Choose the one, you want to use.

When I select the one I chose, the top orange open microphone icon on a Mac disappears, unlike when I select: “Embedded Audio”.
Should I configure my sound card somehow or are there sound cards that are incompatible with Cubase 13?

Hi,

All Audio Devices are compatible.

“When I select the one I chose, the top orange open microphone icon on a Mac disappears, unlike when I select: “Embedded Audio”.” For this problem there’s a solution?

Hi,

I can’t see a problem with this. What do you think it points to?

Where do you select Embedded Audio, please?

Could you attach some screenshots?

It doesn’t work when I select my sound card: when I start to record, the track hasn’t the sound immage and it tells that the driver ASIO is not activated. I tried to see if it works with more projects, but it’s the same.

Hi,

Could you please follow these…?

I select “Incorporated Audio” where I can choose the ASIO drivers. When I choose my sound card, the audio doesn’t work. Try to see the differences in the screenshots sequence.
Thanks!

Hi,

Sorry, I don’t see any difference. What should I see?

If you select the USB driver, the orange microphone is not present. But that doesn’t mean that doesn’t mean, that it doesn’t work.

Hi,
if I select this USB driver and I start to record, this is the notification and the proove that it doesn’t works. How can we do to resolve this?

Hi,

How does it look like in the Audio Connections > Inputs, please?

Do you own Mac with any Apple Silicon processor? Do you run Cubase in a Native mode? Is the driver Apple Silicon compatible?

Hi,
this is Macbook Pro M1. How I see if the driver is compatible?
Now, in this screenshot you can see the track goes, but if I interrupt the record, it disappears, i can’t delete that, it doesn’t remain.
There isn’t the classic line and the audio image.
Thanks!

Now, it’s returned like in this screenshot.

Hi,

Could you please provide the informations, I asked for?

I choose my USB card.

I don’t know what’s native mode and how to know if the driver is Apple Silicon compatible.

Hello?!

Hi,

If you Get Info about the application, you can see if the Open in Rosetta option is enabled (then it starts in the Rosetta mode) or disabled (then it starts in the Native mode).

Regarding the driver, you have to consult this in the driver vendor. For sure, there is an information, on their web page, if the device is Apple Silicon compatible (natively) or not.

I open it in native mode. For the second info, the device doesn’t need any driver on Mac, so I asked to the assistence of the vendor if it is compatible with Apple Silicon M1. I gotta wait.
