I have already searched the forum. Im a casual user and took a break for a while…how can i change the grid resolution for manual input on the drum editor, imputing notes via mouse? I remember a box being in the menus on my previous cubase system a few years back? Many thanks.

You can use Zoom In/Out and Vertical Zoom In/Out. Key Commands H/G, Shift + H/G.
