Drum-Kit Mapping : Hi-Hat Articulations

Well, as it turns out, I really need help with hi-hat articulations and their notation. I got into the Edit Percussion Kit window, but nothing I try seems to work.
I need these hi-hats & their own noteheads:

  1. closed - tight,
  2. closed - looser,
  3. open - semi,
  4. open - full,
  5. pedal.

The pedal has to be able to close a previously open hi-hat.
I’m using a preset in Superior Drummer 3 that contains all of the hi-hats & behaviors.

Update:
I saved my Drum Map as a Dorico Library and now I can’t get it to show up in other files.

I’d suggest you use the files and playback templates I created for Superior Drummer… You can study how everything is set (both the percussion map and the different techniques settings in the percussion instruments inside the kit).

I was able to figure out the mapping & notation.
My new problem is I can’t get my custom maps to show up in other files.

Have you tried and imported flows into a working file? This might be a more straightforward way to get the appropriate result — otherwise you have to make sure that the whole kit is correctly set up, which is a massive work…
