Drum Machine - How to delete unused outputs?

Cubase Pro 14.0.10. Windows 10.

On the Group Page of the Drum Machine, if I assign a pad to different output, it creates a new mixer channel for the output. But then if I change that pad’s output assignment back to “Master” or “–” (the default, but not sure what it means) the unused mixer channel is still retained.

If I have a pad called “kick” and change its assignment multiple times, I now have several unused mixer channels all labeled “kick”.

How can I deactivate unused outputs? I don’t see an output routing section in the Inspector like I would expect for a VSTi.

I just encountered this issue as well. Would be nice if we could get the option to remove channels.

Yes, there is a way.
Personally I click the pink marked icon of the Channel view and then the blue marked area for de-/activating return channels.

Maybe there is an easier way.

I would never have found that
If you know where it is, it’s easy enough I think. Thanks!
