Very nice project!
Thank you for your work. It’s an absolute time-saver for anyone trying to synchronize multiple instrument libraries to a common layout.
At the same time, it makes me wonder why we still have to do this manually or rely on separate tools in the first place.
Cubase already has the beginnings of this idea with features like “Create Drum Map from Instrument” for supported instruments.
What if that concept was expanded into a standardized Instrument Profile that every VST instrument could provide?
Not only could Drum Maps be generated mostly automatically, but the same information could also become the foundation for Expression Maps, the Note Editor, notation, and other instrument-related features, while still allowing users to customize everything afterwards.
