Drum Roll and Midi combining

I have a few feature requests. I don’t see
“feature request” so feel free to move the topic.

  1. It would be nice to have an option to trigger the sample in the drum roll like in the midi editor so people can play around with sounds as they are working on the project instead of hearing the sound when you paste it Seems like a simple thing to do.

  2. Copy/Paste in the drum roll seems to work differently than the midi editor. In the midi editor you can select the midi you want and click alt + drag a copy. In the drum roll it seems like you have to copy the parts you want, stop the playback, place the cursor and hit paste.

  3. I don’t know why this isn’t a thing and if it is, please let me know. It would be really helpful to be able to control multiple instrument tracks with 1 midi track. I know it comes down to a problem with editing controller lanes but it would be so helpful for simply midi notes for layered instruments playing the same notes.

  4. I asked this in another thread but if it’s something that isn’t available it really should be with the click of a button. In Groove Agent, it would really be helpful to have a button to route each pad to an audio track in the mixer so drum tracks can be processed without first dissolving midi parts and bouncing to audio.

Maybe an option to select which pads to route or automatically analyze the current midi track and route active pads so it doesn’t default to creating 128 audio tracks.

Thank you.

You can hear or sample any drum midi sound in the Drum Editor by clicking in the proper drum track area with the mouse and without it pasting to the Drum Editor. Or am I misunderstanding?
