I am a novice when it comes to Drum Set input and I am having problems adding a down stem voice to a drum kit. Everything I have tried so far has failed. Even copy/pasting from fails to produce a down stem voice. Shift V doesn’t seem toiwork. Paste into voice doesn’t seem to work. Even right shift -Voices is different. How do you get mutiple voices into a drum kit?
Most Drum Set notes are pre-assigned up-stem or down-stem values in the Kit Editor, and one only needs to override that (in the Kit Editor) in special circumstances. I have configured mine to express hand-struck instruments as up-stem and foot-operated instruments as down-stem; but that is a carryover from previous experience.
