Yes there is, I found it, but it doesn’t allow me to separate just one item. It separates them all for me and gives me the result reported as in example 2 that I attached.
However, after a bit of testing I succeeded. Just highlight the note and right-click and then change the voice.
Yes, I checked this, but I wasn’t getting the typographical effect I wanted. I put a specific example to explain myself better.
Anyway I found the solution and wrote it in the previous answer.
The example I posted, which is identical to your desired example (except for the high-hat on the line!), was with no manual adjustments. And so, there must be a setting that isn’t consistent with what I’ve suggested or, at least, another setting which I haven’t suggested.
The example is the one I just saw written.
The second example is what I see after making the change in notation options, as you told me. As you can see, the other voices also join me and not just one.
the third screenshot is the procedure I found to obtain the desired graphic notation.
The third example is the desired notation, obtained with the procedure I did.
I understand. But, using the method I described, this would be default and you won’t need to manually adjust anything. Unless my screenshot doesn’t match your third one - in which case, I’ve gone round the bend!
HH and snare up and kick down is indeed the default but if you have fiddled around with the voices and settings it is often difficult to get back to the default.
In general it is easier to set the voices for percussion kits in the playing techniques dialog and not in the normal voices edit menu in my experience.
If the kick stem does not want to go down after you restored the default and you do not want to start afresh, put it in another voice than the HH and snare and specify it as down stem. You can also use F to flip the stems but if the stems are connected that will of course flip all .
@DanielMuzMurray Yes, I tried and you are actually right. I’m missing a passage from those you listed. Unfortunately I don’t know English well and I’m communicating with Google translator
